Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, has been remanded into police custody for a further two weeks following today’s court session.
He was recently arrested and brought before the court on Friday, January 2, 2026. He was arrested in connection with allegations of false publication and creating fear and panic, among others.
Her Ladyship also directed that before the next adjourned date, he should be sent to the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital for a psychiatric assessment.
The suspect recently gained attention for claiming that God had instructed him to construct an ark, as it was done in the days of Prophet Noah in the Bible, to save the world from a devastating flood.
Ebo Noah later claimed that God had changed his mind and had forgiven us, and so he was not going to destroy the world with floods again.
He is set to return to court on January 16, 2026.
