The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Mahama Naser Toure, has passed away.
He is said to have died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a period of illness.
The late MP was a fourth-term lawmaker on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He held key positions in the House, including Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee and member of the Roads and Transport Committee, the House Committee, and the Private Members’ Bills and Motions Committee.
Details emerging indicate that he would be laid to rest tommorow, Monday, January 5, 2026, in accordance with Muslim tradition at his residence in Nima, Accra.
