A suspected ritual killing has occurred at Weija Junction in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality, following the discovery of the lifeless body of an unidentified female.
The body was discovered naked with parts mutilated. Residents in the area have concluded that it could be a ritual killing.
According to Odeshye Kwaku Asiedu reporting on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, residents believe the victim may have been killed elsewhere and later dumped at the junction, possibly to make it appear like a road accident.
He noted that the private part, a leg, and a hand were removed.
He stressed that the development has created fear and panic in the area.
The body has since been conveyed for further examination, and authorities are urging the public to remain calm and assist with any relevant information.
