The Police Service has apprehended three more suspects in connection to the Adabraka gold robbery incident.
Following extensive surveillance and intelligence-driven operations spanning several months, the suspects were taken into custody on January 19, 2026, in Ashaiman.
Identified as Nashiru Abubakari (alias Soldier), Fatao Mohammed (alias Motorway), and a third individual known as 50 Cent, their arrest brings the total number of suspects detained in connection with the robbery to seven.
This comes after four key suspects were previously arrested.
Ongoing investigations are focused on tracking down and apprehending additional accomplices suspected to be involved in the robbery. Efforts to retrieve exhibits linked to the crime are also underway.
The suspects are in police custody and are slated to face court proceedings in accordance with the law.
