The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Reverend Doctor Kweku Addo, spearheaded a humanitarian endeavor in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Accra East and Hope the Chair, distributing approximately 100 wheelchairs to individuals with disabilities across the Ablekuma West Constituency.
This initiative, driven by the legislator’s dedication to inclusive development centered on people’s needs, aims to alleviate mobility challenges and enhance the quality of life for persons with disabilities within the municipality.
The donation ceremony was attended by the President of the Rotary Club of Accra East, representatives from Trust Hospital and Dansoman Polyclinic, including Mrs. Diana Twum, alongside other pivotal community and institutional stakeholders.
During his address, Reverend Doctor Kweku Addo emphasised the significance of strategic alliances in addressing vulnerable groups’ needs, highlighting that leadership should be measured by its tangible impact on lives.
