Meiway also wrote an acknowledgement in the book which covers how he met the Maestro way back.

Meiway, in describing how he set his eyes on the Maestro for the first time in the 1980s, said in “The Music Man: The Journey” that it was “formerly for the first time in 2003 when he invited me to perform as a guest star at his African Music Festival held at the National Theatre. It was the first time we met on stage. We started the concert with a cover of Al Jarreau; Kojo Antwi carried the Ivorian flag, and I carried the Ghanaian flag. It was an experience I still cherish to this day. He has since been my favourite artist and role model in Ghana. ”.

The duo has been Africa’s giant in the music industry for decades and continues to project Africa and their respective countries.
