Rainbow Radio International has secured four nominations in the 15th CityHills Foklex Media Awards.
These nominations span both the National and Greater Accra regional categories, underscoring the station’s growing influence and the calibre of its broadcasting talent.
Leading the charge in the national category is Eddy Ray, the acclaimed host of the mid-morning drive, who faces stiff competition alongside eight other distinguished nominees from across the country.
In the Greater Accra Regional categories, the station’s news and entertainment teams also earned well-deserved recognition.
Boshyeba Kwabena Afriyie, a seasoned parliamentary correspondent and morning show producer, has been nominated for Male Newsreader of the Year.
Meanwhile, the reigning champion and host of the “Away Bus” show is set to defend his title as he competes once again for the Drive Time Presenter of the Year award.
Adding to the station’s impressive tally, the “Presidential DJ” and prolific creative, DJ Pho, earned a spot as a contender for Radio DJ of the Year.
Organised by Foklex Media Production, the awards serve as a platform for celebrating media excellence and honouring the dedication of journalists and broadcasters throughout Ghana.
This year’s ceremony promises to be a vibrant showcase of the industry’s finest talent. The final winners will be revealed during the gala event on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall.
