In a strategic shift toward local empowerment, the Ministry confirmed that this year’s hiring process will be fully decentralised, moving the core of recruitment activities directly to the district level.

According to a statement signed by Ministry Spokesperson Tony Goodman, the exercise aims to fill specific gaps in the healthcare system by targeting verified vacancies within local health administrations.

The process is designed to be competitive and transparent, strictly following an approved quota system to ensure fairness across all professional groups.

Officials have stated that all appointments must remain within the financial limits set by the government clearance, which remains valid until the end of the year.

The Ministry is urging all eligible health professionals to begin gathering their credentials and necessary documentation immediately to avoid delays once the recruitment rolls out.

Under the new guidelines, all hiring activities must be concluded by December 31, 2026.

This deadline places a clear timeline on both the district administrations and the applicants to ensure the workforce is integrated into the health system as efficiently as possible.

Prospective candidates are advised to ignore unofficial sources or third-party advertisements that often circulate during recruitment cycles. Instead, the Ministry directs all applicants to monitor official Ministry of Health communication channels and district health administration boards for specific vacancy announcements and application guidelines.
