MP Jerry Ahmed Shaib Inspects Ongoing Projects in Weija-Gbawe, Assures Timely Delivery and High Standards

The Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe Constituency, Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib, today undertook a working visit across the constituency to inspect ongoing development projects aimed at improving the lives of the people. The visit was part of his efforts to ensure that projects are executed to the highest standards and address the pressing needs of the constituents.

During the visit, Hon. Shaib inspected key sites, including ongoing drainage and road construction works, and assessed the footbridge at Weija School Junction, which was brought to his attention due to its deteriorating condition. He directed that urgent steps be taken to address the rusting and ensure the safety of pedestrians.

The MP also inspected the AstroTurf project at the Weija Methodist School, which is expected to serve as a hub for youth development and community engagement. He expressed satisfaction with the progress of work on the project and engaged contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and the highest standards of execution.

In a statement, Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib said, “I am encouraged by the progress of work on the various projects, and I want to assure the constituents that we are working tirelessly to address their needs. As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to prioritising infrastructure, enhancing safety, and improving the overall well-being of our constituents.”

Hon. Shaib reiterated his commitment to the development of the Weija-Gbawe Constituency, saying, “Together, we will continue to rebuild and develop Weija-Gbawe with our shared values at the core of everything we do.”

The working visit is part of the MP’s ongoing efforts to engage with constituents and ensure that development projects are implemented to benefit the people of Weija-Gbawe.

The Office of the MP has assured constituents that Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib remains dedicated to serving the people and will continue to work towards improving their lives.

The AstroTurf project at Weija Methodist School is expected to provide a much-needed facility for youth development and community engagement, and the repair of the footbridge at Weija School Junction will enhance pedestrian safety in the area.

Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib’s working visit has been welcomed by constituents, who appreciate his hands-on approach to addressing their needs and concerns.
