A heavy downpour in Awutu Papaase No. 1 turned fatal yesterday when a residential building collapsed, claiming the life of a four-year-old boy and leaving his older brother in a critical condition.
The victim, identified as Godsway Nuchuga, was killed when the structure gave way during the storm.
His thirty-five-year-old brother, Seth Nuchuga, sustained severe injuries and is currently fighting for his life.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region on Monday, April 13, 2026.
Information gathered indicates that the brothers were asleep inside their Atakpame home when the rain-weakened walls collapsed upon them.
