Ghanaian-born Silas Boateng has been elected President of the Middle Temple Young Barristers’ Association (MTYBA), following a competitive election concluded on 20 April 2026.

As President, he represents all junior barristers at Middle Temple, one of the four historic Inns of Court with the exclusive power to call individuals to the Bar of England and Wales.

Mr Boateng’s elevation follows his tenure as Vice President (2025–2026) and reflects a distinguished trajectory within the Inn since joining in 2021.
