A former player of Asante Kotoko, Micheal Akuffo, has lamented that the club’s persistent changes in technical leadership have undermined its ambition to clinch this season’s league title.

In an exclusive interview on Rainbow Radio, the ex-porcupine warrior stressed that frequent managerial shake-ups have disrupted tactical continuity, which has weakened players’ confidence and quashed the dream of winning this season’s title.

“Psychologically, the changes of coaches affect the players; every coach comes with a different philosophy, system, and preferred players. When changes happen too often, the team struggles to adapt, and results become inconsistent.”

“There is only one Kumasi Asante Kotoko, and the players must adapt quickly because there is more pressure on the players when you play for a big club like Kumasi Asante Kotoko.” – he added

He urged management to allow a competent coach enough time: without consistency in leadership, the club’s title dream may remain just a dream.
