In a move to support local students, Hon. Clement Apaak, the Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament, has donated 720 mathematical sets to candidates preparing for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.
The gesture is aimed at providing essential tools to the youth within the district, ensuring that no student is left disadvantaged during their final assessments.
The donation was formally received on behalf of the Ghana Education Service by Mr. Stephen Akumzeyam.
Following the handover, Mr. Akumzeyam will take responsibility for overseeing the fair and efficient distribution of the mathematical sets to all eligible candidates across the district’s schools.
This logistical coordination ensures that every student has the necessary instruments to tackle the practical demands of their upcoming examinations.
The timely intervention has been widely welcomed as it significantly eases the financial burden on parents and guardians, many of whom face rising costs during the examination season.
Beyond the immediate practical benefits, the initiative underscores Hon. Apaak’s long-standing commitment to enhancing the quality of education within the district.
Such contributions serve as a testament to the ongoing partnership between local leadership and the educational sector, fostering an environment where academic excellence is prioritised and supported.
