A major focus of the dialogue centered on expanding the scope of inclusive education.

The Vice President lauded UNICEF’s ongoing advocacy for children with disabilities but pushed for an expanded framework that addresses the needs of students facing hidden learning difficulties within mainstream classroom environments.

The Vice President also stressed that policy interventions must be matched by grassroots accountability, calling for increased parental involvement in community health, sanitation, and child welfare.

Both parties concluded the meeting by pledging to deepen the bilateral partnership between Ghana and UNICEF to secure better socio-economic outcomes for families nationwide.
