The Greater Accra Regional branch of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has confirmed the death of a middle-aged male resident in Alajo following the heavy rains.

Regional NADMO Director, Dennis Ajanor Nartey, disclosed on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that the victim was initially pulled to safety by emergency workers.

However, the resident defied official advice and returned to his flooded room to retrieve his television, where he was subsequently electrocuted.
