Gabonese President Brice Oligui Nguema to Pay 3-Day Official Visit to Ghana

The President of the Gabonese Republic, His Excellency Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, will undertake a three-day official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, 28th July to Thursday, 30th July 2026.

The visit comes following an invitation extended by Ghana’s President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

According to an official statement issued by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, President Nguema will lead a high-powered delegation comprising Cabinet Ministers, senior state officials, and prominent leaders of the Gabonese business sector.

As part of the outlined itinerary, the two Heads of State will hold a private tête-à-tête session, followed by expanded bilateral talks at the Jubilee House in Accra on 28th July.

The engagements will review existing partnerships while identifying fresh avenues for collaboration in strategic sectors, including trade, investment, mining, energy, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, maritime affairs, transport, tourism, education, health, defence and security, environmental protection, and climate action.

The presidency noted that the visit signifies a watershed moment in Ghana-Gabon bilateral relations aimed at fostering sustainable economic development and mutual benefits for both nations.
