The Ghanaian duo produced a thrilling fightback at the Borteyman Sports Complex to overcome Egypt’s Hussein Eyad and Malak Zaki in a gripping semi-final encounter.
After falling behind 2–1 early in the match, Aklie and Borteye rallied with immense resolve before a passionate home crowd.
The duo showed exceptional grit under pressure, sweeping the final two games 11–8, 11–8 to seal a memorable 3–2 victory.
The sensational comeback sets up a grand finale against rivals Nigeria, as the young talents target continental glory on home soil.
