The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ayawaso Central, Hon. Rudolph Collingwood-Williams, has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Ayawaso Central for their support and cooperation since he assumed office.
Speaking on the Rainbow Radio Weekend Show*, Hon. Collingwood-Williams said the overwhelming support from chiefs, opinion leaders, youth groups, traders, and residents has made his work easier and has contributed significantly to the progress of the municipality.
“I want to sincerely thank my constituents for the cooperation since I took office. Without your support, nothing would have been possible,” he stated.
The MCE appealed to residents to continue supporting the Assembly, emphasizing that unity and collective effort are key to achieving a better Ayawaso Central. He called on them to remain law-abiding, participate in communal activities, and support government policies and programmes at the local level.
“Let us continue this spirit of togetherness for a better Ayawaso Central. Development is a shared responsibility, and I am confident that together, we will transform our municipality,” he added.
Touching on his achievements, Hon. Rudolph Collingwood-Williams noted that his administration, with the support of the government of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has witnessed remarkable development in the municipality. According to him, the Mahama-led administration has been “so far so good” to Ayawaso Central in terms of development projects and interventions aimed at improving the living conditions of the people.
He mentioned that the government has shown commitment to improving roads, sanitation, education, and other social infrastructure within the municipality.
“So far, the government of H.E. John Dramani Mahama has been so good to my municipality in terms of development. We have seen improvements, and more projects are in the pipeline to better the lives of our people,” he disclosed.
Hon. Collingwood-Williams assured residents that his office will continue to prioritize their welfare, ensure equitable distribution of resources, and maintain an open-door policy for all constituents regardless of political affiliation. He reiterated his commitment to building an Ayawaso Central that is clean, safe, and prosperous for all.
