Receiving the keys to the vehicle, the Director-General of Prisons, Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (ESQ), expressed appreciation to the President for the gesture and thanked the Minister for the presentation.
She assured the Minister that the bus would be handed over to the designated prison facility and put to its intended use as soon as possible.
The Minister was accompanied by the Minister for Energy, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor, the Deputy Minister for the Interior, Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, officials from the ministry, and senior and junior officers from the Prisons Headquarters.
