Ghanaian gospel musician Stella Cobby has revealed that her latest song, ‘Change My Story’, came to her while she was in the shower.

The musician stated that she was praying under the running water when the inspirational track was birthed. According to her, she was going through a very difficult period and took to prayer for God’s intervention, which was the exact moment the song came to her.

Appearing on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, she told host Eddie Ray that the song encourages people not to feel discouraged during tough times, as God will always intervene. She added that the track demonstrates the deep trust Christians must place in God despite their difficulties.

“Change My Story is a song that tells my personal story. I was going through very challenging times, so I asked God to change my story. I received the song while in the shower praying. Without drying myself off, I stepped out and called the songwriter to help me put the song together. I was in my shower when the song came to me. I was praying. The song came to me through the Holy Spirit. Whatever I was going through, God allowed it so that I could have a story to tell and an inspiration for the new song,” she shared.

Stella Cobby advised that people should not let negative comments affect them, but should instead remain strong in the Lord and seek Him in all things.

She added that victory is inevitable for Christians, provided they remain steadfast, maintain a consistent prayer life, and allow God to direct their paths.
