The Republic of Ghana has announced a new issuance of senior unsecured Treasury Bonds maturing in 2030, aimed at raising capital from both domestic and foreign markets. The four-year debt instrument will be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange, with each bond carrying a face value of one Ghana Cedi.
According to an official issuance announcement signed by the Secretary of the Bank of Ghana, Aimee Vyda Quashie, the book-building process will officially open on Tuesday, 1st September 2026, at 9:00 AM.
The offer is open to resident investors and accessible to non-resident investors, with a minimum bid requirement set at GHS 50,000 and subsequent multiples of GHS 1,000.
Primary dealers participating as active bond market specialists for the transaction include Absa, CalBank, Fincap, GCB, OA, and Stanbic.
The issue methodology will follow a book-build format, where bids will be accepted on a yield percentage basis. All successful bids are expected to clear at a single clearing level, with discretionary allocation applied in the event of an over-subscription.
Revised and final pricing guidance will be released during the bookbuild before books close at approximately 3:00 PM on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, followed by final pricing and allocation.
The transaction is scheduled to finalize with the settlement and issue date on Monday, 7th September 2026.
