The former Ayawaso Central Constituency Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bismark Boateng, has declared that the party’s victory in the 2028 general elections is a sealed divine agenda.
He stated that despite any human machinations, manipulations, or orchestrations, God has already decreed victory for the NPP. He was responding to the outcome of the party’s national executive elections.
Mr Boateng noted that the process leading to the election of the new executives was free, fair, transparent, and conducted without any objections.
“God has been gracious to the NPP. The outcome of our elections shows that God has handed over power to the NPP come 2028. The process started smoothly and culminated in the October 3 conference. The elections were free, fair, transparent, and accepted by all. You could tell that all the candidates and their supporters were excited,” he said.
“The outcome of the elections was not challenged by anyone. We left the stadium more united and ready to work for the party. People are poised for change. The NDC has demonstrated that it was a terrible option for the people, confirming that they have nothing to offer. They are incompetent, and the NPP remains the only party poised to transform this country,” he added.
He further argued that electing John Boadu as National Chairman signals ultimate victory for the NPP.
“John Boadu’s election as Chairman is a clear sign of victory for the NPP in 2028. He is an experienced politician who has risen through the ranks—from a polling station officer to constituency and national levels—demonstrating his competence and dedication to party work,” he stressed.
He emphasised that at this critical juncture in the NPP’s existence, the party requires a reliable, accessible, credible, and grassroots-oriented leader to secure political power.
“These qualities are the exact traits of John Boadu. His pairing with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will make the job much easier for the NPP. His election will unite the party. The victory of John Boadu is a victory for both the NPP and Dr Bawumia,” he added.
He noted that with Mr Boadu at the helm of affairs, he will reconcile and bring back all disgruntled party members who had previously disassociated themselves from party activities, adding that the opposition NDC is now alarmed by his return.
