A total of 1,568 law graduates will officially join the legal profession this Friday (October 9, 2026) during the annual Call to the Bar ceremony in Accra.

The ceremony, organized by the General Legal Council (GLC), marks the formal enrollment of the graduates onto the Roll of Lawyers, giving them the legal mandate to practice law across the country.

Senior members of the judiciary, top legal practitioners, government officials, and family members are expected to gather to witness the newly qualified lawyers take their professional oaths and swear allegiance to uphold the Constitution.
