Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Ocloo, has made a strong pitch for enhanced collaboration and structured coordination across healthcare operations, insisting that strategic resource management remains vital to serving the region’s most vulnerable populations.
Addressing key stakeholders during a high-level engagement with the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Hon. Ocloo highlighted the critical nature of health infrastructure in driving national progress, particularly within a densely populated and rapidly expanding urban hub like Greater Accra.
She noted that the gathering offered an invaluable platform to evaluate the active programmes of the Medical Trust Fund, exchange operational insights, and map out practical recommendations to maximize the fund’s overall impact on regional healthcare delivery.
“I believe that strong collaboration between the Fund and the Regional Coordinating Council, the health sector, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies and other relevant stakeholders will be essential to ensuring that the Fund interventions reach the people who need it most,” she stated.
Hon. Ocloo subsequently charged all attending partners and representatives to leverage the engagement to forge tighter resource alignment and drive better health outcomes across every district in the region.
