President John Dramani Mahama has undertaken a working tour of Dignity DTRT, a leading Ghanaian-owned garment manufacturing firm operating under the Free Zones Scheme, as the government pushes forward with its industrialisation and 24-Hour Economy agenda.

The visit comes as the company prepares to commission a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility designed to operate around the clock. The expansion project is expected to generate over 15,000 direct jobs, significantly boosting local employment while strengthening the country’s export capacity on the global market.

Speaking during the tour, President Mahama reiterated the government’s firm commitment to reviewing the Customs Act. He explained that the review aims to protect Free Zones incentives, safeguard existing investments, and build greater confidence among both local and foreign investors.
