The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has issued a strict directive to Sarkodie Baffour Awuah and Partners, demanding comprehensive financial documents spanning an eight-year period.
In an official confidential notice dated 30th October, 2026, and signed by the Acting Executive Director, Raymond Archer, the anti-graft agency invoked Section 19 of the EOCO Act 804 (2010) to initiate the probe.
The firm, located at North Dzorwulu in Accra, has been instructed to turn over critical operational records covering 2017 to 2025 to assist with ongoing investigations.
According to the schedule outlined by the anti-corruption body, the requested materials include audited financial statements, tax payment evidence issued by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) encompassing corporate tax, VAT, levies, and withholding tax.
Additionally, investigators have demanded a complete list of bank accounts operated by the firm alongside corresponding bank statements, valid assembly operating permits and renewals, and an exhaustive roster of current employees.
“Your response is expected to reach the undersigned by 6th November, 2026,” the directive stated, emphasizing the urgency placed on the compliance by state machinery.
Management has therefore been urged to cooperate fully with the state agency to expedite the inquiry before the fast-approaching deadline.
