Some family members at Kasoa Opeikumah family members attacked health workers at Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital after accusing them of negligence in killing their 17-year-old boy.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 10:00 p.m..
The family took the boy for treatment after he went unconscious.
However, the boy did not survive, and the family is accusing the facility of negligence.
Daniel Hebibor, the father of the deceased, alleged that his son died as a result of the wrong medication.
It took the intervention of the police to manage the situation, as the angry family members weren’t berserk, attacked the workers, and destroyed some items.
Three people have since been arrested and are assisting the police with their investigations.
