In a move to strengthen engagement and improve service delivery to constituents, the Member of Parliament for Weija Gbawe, Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib, who also serves as the Second Deputy Minority Whip, has officially commissioned a constituency office.
The office was commissioned on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at SCC, within the New Weija Electoral Area.
The lawmaker explained that the office will serve as a vital link between the MP and the people of Weija Gbawe, enabling constituents to share their needs, concerns, and challenges directly. A team will be available daily to welcome and address constituents’ concerns.
Hon. Shaib emphasized that the office is non-partisan and open to every resident in the constituency, regardless of their political affiliation. “I didn’t come to only support my party, but the whole Weija Gbawe Constituency, because it’s not only NPP members who voted for me,” he stated. “The MP’s office is for Weija constituents, not just party members.”
He expressed his deepest gratitude to the chiefs, elders, Assembly Members, opinion leaders, and all constituents who attended the commissioning ceremony.
Hon. Shaib pledged to continue serving with dedication, commitment, and integrity. The commissioning of the constituency office marks a significant milestone in his efforts to serve his constituents and promote development in the Weija Gbawe Constituency.
