He indicated that the over thirty million citizens of Ghana, stretching from Chorkor to Bole, are firmly united behind the squad.

President Mahama extended a specific charge to the vibrant Ghanaian diaspora residing across North America, urging them to gather at the Toronto Stadium to serve as the “12th Man”.

He called on fans to fill the stands with the national colors of red, gold, and green, ensuring the players feel the presence of home despite the distance.

Addressing domestic supporters, the statement confirmed that the government has successfully secured official television broadcast rights for the tournament.

This arrangement ensures that the matches will be accessible to all citizens nationwide, from major urban centers to rural communities spanning Axim to Bawku, and Ho to Hamile.

The statement concluded with a powerful appeal to national pride, urging the Black Stars to play for the flag and to inspire the next generation of children dreaming of athletic greatness.

Expressing absolute confidence in the team’s capabilities, the presidency noted that the entire world is watching as the Black Stars seek to shine on the global stage.
