The National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released the timetable and voter identification requirements for its upcoming national conference scheduled for Saturday, 3 October 2026.
In an official notice addressed to all constituency, regional, and national officers, as well as delegates, NOEC Chairman Frederick Opare-Ansah outlined a two-stage schedule for the day’s proceedings.
“As we prepare for the Party’s conference on 3 October 2026, all officers and delegates are requested to take note of the programme schedule and voter identification requirements below. Your punctuality and cooperation will help ensure the orderly consideration of constitutional amendments and the smooth conduct of the elections of national officers,” Opare-Ansah stated.
According to the committee, the national event will commence with consideration of Constitutional Amendments at exactly 9:00 a.m., followed by the Election of National Officers at 12:00 p.m.
Voting will take place across 31 polling stations for nine executive positions, comprising National Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, National Organiser, National Women’s Organiser, National Youth Organiser, National Nasara Organiser, National Treasurer, and National Communications Director.
The committee confirmed that the Electoral Commission (EC) will supervise the elections and carry out voter verification. Delegates must have their names listed on the official delegates’ register and present one valid form of identification—a Voter ID card, Ghana Card, or NPP party card—to be eligible to vote.
Party leadership advised delegates to arrive early with their required identification documents to allow sufficient time for clearance before voting begins.
