The newly elected National 2nd Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has expressed his profound gratitude to party delegates following his victory at the just-ended National Delegates Conference in Kumasi.
In an official statement issued on Sunday, October 4, Nana B expressed heartfelt appreciation to God and the rank and file of the party for their unwavering support throughout the election process. He noted that having served the NPP as National Youth Organizer and subsequently as National Organizer over the past eight years, taking up the 2nd Vice Chairman role represents a significant elevation which he accepts with immense honour.
Looking ahead to future political contests, the experienced party administrator pledged to work closely with the executive leadership to ensure that the NPP secures victory in the 2028 general elections with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as presidential candidate. He emphasized that the work ahead is clearly defined and called for a united, formidable front to wrest power from the current opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
Extending his congratulations to all newly elected national executives, Nana B urged party faithful to join forces to deliver political success for the party, concluding with prayers for the NPP and the nation.
