The United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel has admonished the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be guided by the Peace Pact they signed before the 2020 elections as they challenge the results.
It has asked them to use the appropriate legal means to resolve the challenges and electoral grievances that have characterized the 2020 general elections.
The statement further asked the judiciary to continue playing its key adjudicatory role to ensure that cases brought before it are handled promptly with transparency to reflect the will of the people.
The statement said the judiciary must ensure the credibility of any electoral petition.
