Man, 32, allegedly beats his aunt to death for cursing him

A 32-year-old man, Kofi Kreman, has been remanded by the Nkawkaw Magistrate court for allegedly assaulting one Afua Ataa, 35 to death.

Details available to Rainbowradioonline.com indicate that the suspect allegedly assaulted the 35-year-old woman at Kwahu Atuobikrom in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The incident is said to have occurred last Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Kofi Kreman accused Afua Ataa of invoking curses on him.

A family member speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm said the suspect allegedly slapped and kicked Afua Ataa in the stomach over the purported curse.

When interrogated, the suspect is said to have assaulted his Auntie for cursing him and believes his assault on the deceased had settled the issue.

The aunt to the suspect is said to have died 24 hours after the incident

The suspect was arrested and arraigned before the court and has since been remanded.

He is to reappear in court on February 22, 2022.
