Former President John Dramani Mahama has spent the Christmas celebration with some senior members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The move by the former President he said was to check on them and find out how they were doing.

His visitation took him to the residences of former Chairperson of the Council of State Cecilia Johnson, former National Chairman Kofi Portuphy, and a former Ambassador & former Deputy Defence Minister catching-up Aidoo.
In a brief message on his social media handles, Mr. Mahama wrote “I spent this year’s Christmas eve with some senior comrades, both to wish them a Merry Christmas and also find out how they are doing.
This round of the catching up visit took us to a former Chairperson of the Council of State Cecilia Johnson, former National Chairman Kofi Portuphy, and a former Ambassador & former Deputy Defence Minister Dr. J. Tony Aidoo.

I was joined by other senior comrades like Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, Kofi Totobi Quakyi, Kofi Attor and Madam Sherry Ayittey. Also with us were National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Julius Debrah and Victor Smith.”
