The Enchi District Police Command has arrested a couple for allegedly beating their four-year-old daughter to death for bedwetting.
Rainbowradioonline.com has gathered that the victim, Francisca Etuteh, was forced to sit on hot water by the parents.
She also broke her arm due to the beatings, the Police have disclosed.
The suspects, Effah Donaldson, 34, and Salome Oteku, 27, allegedly lashed the minor
till she fell unconscious at Yakase in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North Region.
Confirming the story, the Enchi Police Divisional Commander, ACP Henry Bacho, revealed the suspects later rushed their daughter to the Aowin Community clinic.
However, she passed on while receiving treatment.
A report was filed at the Police station rolling which a team was deployed to go and arrest the suspects.
Meanwhile, the body has been deposited at the Enchi Government Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
