Two persons have lost their lives following a misunderstanding over the purchase of marijuana locally known as “wee.”
The incident Rainbowradioonline.com gathered occurred at Kotwi in the Atwima Kwanwoma district in the Ashanti region, yesterday, Sunday, January, 17, 2022.
One of the deceased has been identified by the local residents as Nana Bonsu, 30 years.
The second person who was allegedly killed by a mob is yet to be identified.
Information gathered by this website indicates that the suspect allegedly “pulled a knife and stabbed Nana Bonsu multiple times after he (suspect) failed to pay for a wee.”
Meanwhile, three other persons have sustained injuries following the incident.
The bodies of the deceased persons have been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
