KNUST Level-200 student arrested for threatening to stab students & kill another

Elivis Nsiah, a level-200 student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a student and stab five others.

The suspect is accused of threatening to stab five students in the university’s Continental Hall and kill another student in the same hall in order to appease what he refers to as the gods.

The accused was brought before the Asokore Mampong Magistrate Court and remanded into police custody to appear in court on August 30, 2022.

Meanwhile, an investigation is still underway to apprehend all other rioters and bring them to justice, the Police have said.
