The prime suspect in the death of a woman who was buried in the kitchen of a residential apartment in Sikafuambantem, a suburb of Mankessim in the Central Region, has been arrested.
The suspect was apprehended in his hideout in Akwa Krom, Ekumfi District.
The operation to apprehend the main suspect was led by officers from the Mankessim District Police Command.
He was later transferred to the Regional Police Command in Cape Coast for further questioning.
The deceased is said to have been murdered and buried a few days ago for ritual purposes.
