No gov’t can beat our record in job creation, roads, classrooms and other achievements – Bawumia

December 30, 2022

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has claimed that no government in Ghana’s fourth republican history can match the New Patriotic Party’s record of job creation.

The current administration, according to the second gentleman of the land, has created more jobs than any other government.

He made the remarks during the party’s annual thanksgiving service, which was held at the party’s headquarters.

He said ”we have created more jobs than any other government in the history of the fourth republic. More jobs; teachers, nurses, security forces, civil service, and the private sector. We have created more jobs than any other government in the fourth republic, and we have to thank God for that. There is more to do, no doubt. But our record put us as number one of any government in the fourth republic”.

Dr. Bawumia further stated at the ceremony that the government of Akufo-Addo has built more roads than any other government in the fourth republic, adding that the government has also built more classrooms than any other government in the fourth republic.

He also praised the NPP’s one-constituency-one-ambulance initiative, Zipline drone services that deliver drugs to communities, and other key policies, emphasising that no government can match its achievements.

He acknowledged that the country faces challenges, but quickly added that the NPP government is the best government to address them.
