Banda constituency gives Mahama massive endorsement

Former President John Dramani Mahama has won the Banda constituency presidential primary by a wide margin.

The former president polled 316 votes out of the 353 votes cast.

His closes contender in this constituency, Professor Joshua Alabi followed with 12 votes.

Alban Bagbin, Nurudeen Iddrisu, Sylvester Mensah got 8, 1 and 2 votes respectively.

Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah polled 7 votes with Goosie Tanoh polling 4 votes.

The total vote cast was 353 with 3 rejected ballots.

The total number of voters expected were 365.
