Bawumia extends love to street children on VALS DAY

On the morning of St. Valentine’s Day, Vice President Bawumia joined Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell, Parishioners and some underprivileged children and adults at the Christ The King Church’s daily Soup Kitchen, at the Fatima Garden, Accra.

The “CTK Soup Kitchen” is an initiative of Rev. Father Andrew Campbell with support from the Church to feed and help the less privileged, especially street children, and bring some cheer into their lives.

He was touched and pleasantly surprised by the musical and other talent displayed by these children, who through no fault of theirs, are forced to survive on the streets.

Let us show love and care for each other.
On our part, Government will continue to engage with all stakeholders as we work to provide shelter, education and skills training for our less privileged brothers and sisters.
