Deputy Majority Chief Whip of Parliament, Moses Anim, has advised the Minority to boycott parliament till 2020 if they do not recognise Lydia Alhassan as MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon.
The legislator told Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that, he will personally hoot at the Minority MPs if they come to Parliament again.
He asked them to stay out of the House until 2020 because the woman will continue to come to Parliament since she was validly elected and declared after a credible process.
Moses Anim advised the Minority to go the the High Court and challenge the results if they are not satisfied with the outcome because it is only the High Court that can declare the election as null and void.
He described the action by the Minority as irresponsible.
He was displeased the Minority could call the woman a bloody widow and quizzed if the woman had her hands stained with blood.
He said, the NDC as a party does not respect women and so I was not surprised they went that far.
The Minority on Tuesday staged a walk out in Parliament during the swearing in of Lydia Alhassan.
The MPs wielding placards with the inscription ‘bloody widow’ said, they will not accept the woman as MP because she is a beneficiary of a corrupt process.
