Court grants Ofosu Ampofo and Boahen Gh¢100,000 bail; case adjourned to May 6

The Accra High Court has granted bail to Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Chiarman if the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Anthony Kwaku Boahen, a Deputy Communication Director of the opposition, National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Ampofo and Boahen were each granted bail in the sum of Gh¢100,000 with one surety after they pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to cause harm and assault on a public officer.

The case has been adjourned to Mary 6, 2019.

Former President John Dramani Mahama stored the court to show support for the two national party officers.

Other big wigs of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary of the NDC, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, the spokesperson for the Former President were also present.
