It would be recalled thaa t fear w days ago the chiefs and people of the Bole district in the Savanna Region appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to consider lifting the curfew imposed on them to allow businesses to thrive.
The chiefs, through the Savanna Regional Minister, Salifu Adam Brimah made the appeal to Vice-President Alhaji .Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia when he visited the region on Sunday, 2 June 2019 as part of his nationwide Ramadan tour.
The chiefs observed that there is relative peace in the area and pleaded with the government to consider reviewing the curfew hours so the people can continue their economic activities to enhance the socio-economic development of the district.
But unfortunately, this new incident is likely to cause a delay or denial of their request.
