Everlasting Tiki: The Fast Rising Rapper & Student of GIJ

Fast rising rapper, Everlasting Tiki is about to take the music industry by storm. The Accra based artiste, whose is well versed in rap and other genres, said he eats, drinks and thinks about music.

Everlasting Tiki, originally known as Richmond Asomaning, says his passion for music spans many years and has decided to pursue his talent aside his education.

The former student of Bonwire Senior High Technical School is currently pursuing a Communications course at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).

Everlasting Tiki attended the Nobewam D/A Junior High School in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking in an interview with rainbowradioonline.com, Everlasting Tiki described himself as a versatile upcoming musician.

‘’I am a versatile musician but I am currently doing only rap for now. Music is my passion and I enjoy doing it. The passion I have for music is so strong that I have decided to pursue it aside my education at GIJ,’’ he said.

He writes all his songs and has performed at events including the recently hyeld at JOY FM’s OPEN MIC Concert.

On what he wants to achieve with his music, he said, ‘’I want to be influential and use my craft to impact lives positively. I want to be a global brand and represent Ghana at international events, win global awards and make Ghana my beloved country proud.

In the view of Everlasting Tiki, music is not just a craft but serves as a tool for national development. I will therefore call on musicians to use their talent and music to shape society, influence people to change and promote positive attitudes,’ he added.

He has called for investments in the creative industry especially for upcoming musicians. He believes such investments would help unearth talents.

Everlasting Tiki has released a number of singles including ‘Obinim Sticker’, ‘Zero to Hero’ and his biggest hit ‘Abaisem’ which was produced by Amagidon
