The Manager for Rural Technology Facility ( RTF) at Bechem in the Tano South Municipality of Ahafo region, Mr, Alex Ampofo, has appealed to President Akufo-Addo-Addo and Ministry of Education to extend the free senior high school policy to other rural technology facilities across the country.
The move he said would help the students in the instructions centres to also benefit from the policy because the students in the various rural technologies are suffering, he added.
Mr Alex Ampofo also disclosed to Rainbow Radio’s Augustine Agyapong ( Kojo Mframa ) that the Bechem Rural Technology Facility ( RTF ) is currently facing a lot of challenges including inadequate classroom blocks for the students, accommodation for the tutors, and others.
I would therefore appeal to government and authorities to intervene because the institution enrollment has increased, he said.
On his part, the Municipal Chief Executive ( MCE) for Tano South, Mr Collins Offinam Takyi said government was committed to improving status of the two rural technology facilities across Ahafo region.
