Ghana’s Prince Kojo-Hilton receives World icon of Peace Award


The World Institute for Peace in partnership with Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo-Nigeria has honoured Ghanaian Arts Director and Production Designer, Prince Kojo-Hilton.

Hilton, Special Effects Expert received World Icon of Peace Award at the World Peace Connect, Africa Event on March 22, 2019 for tremendously promoting culture of peace with his career.

The event engaged over 1000 students of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Nigeria in Vocational Education in order to be self-employed and how they can be self-reliant through vocational education In the areas of; VISUAL ART, THEATRE and FILM.

World Institute for Peace brought from different angles the trainers that trained the students on different fields of vocational education.

Other awardees at the event include; Dr. M. Ade Adesina, Mr. Oludare Oluwashina, Mrs. Adekoya Oluwadamilola, Dr. (Mrs) B.I Awosika, Mr. Charles Akinwon, Amb. Soyebi Oluwakemi.

Hilton was contracted and worked as a Scenic Artist with Hollywood Director of ‘The Matrix’, where he designed buses, made paintings of Hollywood actor Jean-Claude Van Damme.

He also worked as the Scenic Director for Hollywood blockbuster series “Sense 8” — plus other Hollywood productions outside Ghana.

The creative personality was recently honoured by the Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute [COGAI], as an Ambassador for Pan African Art in Africa.

The CEO of Hilwood Studio and the Executive Director of The Arts Legendary Hall of Fame received the honorary award on 9th March, 2019 at the International Conference Center in Accra.
