I’II sue Banku if he fails to fight Bastie in their return match-Promoter

CEO of Box Office Promotions Alex Ntiamoah, has made an emphatic statement that if Braimah Kamoko affectionately called Bukom Banku fails to honour the rematch between him and Bastie Samir he has no option than to go court to sue for damages.

Speaking to Isaac Worlanyo Wallace on Rainbow Sports, Alex said, Bukom Banku has been giving excuses as to when he will face a rematch between him and Bastie Samir after he was knocked out in round seven in their non title bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena in October 2017.

According to the CEO, Banku always demands for postponement whenever he is confronted with the issue.

‘’If he is ready for the bout I will do everything possible within my means to organise the rematch but if he refuses to fight the court will be my last option, he warned.

According to him he has reported the case to Ghana Boxing Authority Arbitration Committee and if he is not satisfied with the outcome then he will advice himself.

First and foremost he [Banku] must payback the money he took from me, pay the damages I incurred and apologise to the boxing fans he has disappointed. Sometimes when you leave people to do what they want to do the end results is not good; you have to stamp your authority to make sure the right thing is done, he said.
