After successfully launching three new highlife songs as part of his monthly releases in April, highlife musician, Rex Omar has launched the fourth one dubbed, ‘’Why, Where, Who’.
The song was first played on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm with host Kwame Tutu.
Rex Omar, not long ago, stated that he was going to releases a highlife song every month for the next three years so that the highlife genre gets rejuvenated.
The song is the fourth he has released.
Explaining the rationale behind the latest track, the musician with over 35 experience said, he want Ghanaians to be inspired, discover themselves and also eschew greediness and rather be compassionate.
He called on Ghanaians to cast their mind from where they came from so they will know where they are going.
The song also questions why people keep running away from themselves and appreciating the foreign cultures of others instead of embracing their own.
The song also focuses on admonishing people to seek the face of God because in his view, we have lost the script and the script write and yet, we pretend to have it.
He said, people only think about themselves but in reality, only one person lives through us and that is God, who reflects himself through us.
