The 2018 Man Ghana event organized annually by the Ghana Bodybuilding Fitness Association (GBFA) has been slated for December 1, 2018.
This year’s event will come off at the National Theatre in Accra, the organizers have said.
Speaking to GBFA President Abdul Haye Yartey, on Rainbow Sports he said that he expect this year’ event to be the biggest Man Ghana event to be organised by the association because they are introducing a female bikini contest and men physique contest.
According to Mr Yartey, they are adding an entertainment segment to this year’s event to make entertaining.
‘’We will have four different artistes billed for the vent and they are Miji, a female dancehall artiste; Teephlow, Keche and Kinaata to thrill the fans,’’ he added.
Meanwhile, Mr Yartey has been invited to attend an International Federation for Bodybuilding (IFFB) world championship congress in Spain from 8 November to 12 November 2018.
He said, the invitation is very important for every president of bodybuilding to attend to look out for the way forward for bodybuilding.
When asked what are some of the benefits his Federation will get from this trip he said, the IFFB has promised him badges, souvenirs, bodybuilding materials for his federation to use to promote Bodybuilding in Ghana.
The competition is opened to all bodybuilders in Ghana, however athletes suspended, banned or expelled by the GBFA would not be allowed to participate in the event.
